5. Ground Coffee

Do you care about your coffee’s flavor? If not, skip on ahead to the next item on the list. If you love the smell of coffee, and the flavor makes you happy, you should really switch to grind your own beans. Coffee loses most of its smell, about 60%, in about fifteen minutes after it is ground, and smell has a huge effect on flavor. Pre-ground beans can make an acceptable beverage, but be sure you use it all within a reasonably short period of time, or it will go stale, and become nasty.
