Although you can save money buying meat at Costco, there’s a big catch. It’s a sixty pound catch, in that you need to buy a sixty pound box of meat in order to save money there. The exception to this is the rotisserie chickens. You’re better off getting to know your local butcher. If you do want to buy the sixty pound box however, remember that freezer burn is a thing. To enjoy the full quality of frozen meat it should be eaten within 3 months. It should be thrown away after a year.
