Impala has a long history that dates back to 1958 and has always been included in the Chevrolet lineup for about 20 years, but that history has finally ended. The comfortable cabin and the ability to accelerate were attracting many fans. In recent years, new technologies such as Apple’s CarPlay and Android Audio had been actively incorporated into the car. However, the car was also been battered by rough waves of changing consumer needs, ending production in the US at the end of February 2020.

Following Aveo and Metro sold by GM, Sonic emerged as a series that was added with bold changes. In its eight-year history, however, a full scale model change has been implemented only once. Production of this car will end because the car gradually began to show its signs of oldness against the backdrop of other vehicles’ updates. By taking advantage of the increased plant capacity, the production of Bolt EV-based electric crossover vehicles will be accelerated.
