Looks like I’m spending the night sleeping in the reception of @TravelodgeUK London Farringdon.
The ‘accessible’ room booked wasn’t accessible. I couldn’t even get my wheelchair through the door and it wasn’t an adapted room. @TravelodgeUK couldn’t care less. #AbleismSucks

Update: I spent a few hours in reception feeling awful (I’m in London for a hospital admission) before the manager came out to say we should just accept the inaccessible room as access “doesn’t matter” or we could go to the other side of London.

Thankfully I was with a family member who was able to go out frantically searching for another hotel in the night as @TravelodgeUK failed to find us somewhere suitable. We had to pay a fortune for an accessible room.
