GM will retire the mid-size sedan Regal to convert the entire Buick lineup to SUVs. Regal sold just 2,000 units in the first half of 2020. GM currently sells the model of Buck Regal Sportback hatchback model and Buick Regal Tour X, a sporty station wagon. Regal was originally a legacy car produced by Opel in Germany when the company was a GM affiliate. Production is likely to be discontinued due to the decline in demand for sedans.

Cadillac has delivered some of the most popular cars, such as Fleetwood and Deville, but the CT6 has not achieved much popularity. The provocative model was the first to feature the Super Cruise, semi-automatic driving technology, but in 2019 only sold fewer than 8,000 units. Escalade, a full-size SUV, sold nearly five times as many CT6, indicating the sedan is still struggling. The line-up was already streamlined as of the 2020 model, suggesting CT6’s exit. The series will disappear from the North American market, but the drivers who was riding this car even once greatly appreciated it.
