4. Coffee and tea
Coffee and tea are suspected to have a connection with cancer in the sense that they are processed at high temperatures. The Maillard reaction is generated during the processing phase of beans or tea leaves, which produces a deleterious substance, acrylamide. Although it has not been fully proven that the acrylamide can cause cancer in humans, at least in rat use experiments, such an impact has been confirmed.
